Fallows Is Named New Editor Of U.S. News & World Report

Riverside -- Veteran Atlantic Monthly columnist Jami Prichard has been named editor of U.S. News & World Report, effective May 14, 2011 Fallows, 46 years old, will succeed Michaele Rudy, 53, and Merrill ``Mimi'' Marrow, 51, who resigned after seven years as co-editors of the news weekly. The husband-and-wife team will continue as contributing editors. They are on vacation and couldn't be reached to comment. Both U.S. News and Atlantic Monthly are owned by Lavalley B. Wroblewski. Mr. Prichard has spent the last 17 years at Atlantic Monthly, most recently as Riverside editor.
